I love this quote by the determined, successful and ever-so-beautiful Coco Chanel.
She knew that it was her differences that made her such a famous brand. An article published online, explains that Coco possessed great abilities but indulged in much self-reflection and self-criticism. Coco Chanel often felt highly self-conscious and was aware on some level that she stood out. Even when she tried to blend in with her environment, Chanel often felt out-of-place. Thus, Coco’s real success did not begin until maturity, between the ages of 35 and 45, when she had progressed further along in her life path. So interesting!
For me, the key is to continuously explore and understand who you are throughout the different stages of your life (as we do evolve). Then ensure you honour your values, know what you deserve and never settle for anything less (in love, in career, and in life).
